Create alias

Creates an alias of the selected node(s). An alias node may also be created by clicking on the “Create Alias” button in the toolbar. Creating an alias of an alias is equivalent of creating an alias of the node referred to by the first alias.

Note that if you hold down the Command key while selecting “Create alias”, the “Move to other…” dialog box will appear, and you may transfer the newly created alias to another directory. 

Get alias…

Displays a dialog box (similar to the Macintosh “Open file”-dialog box) where you may navigate to the folder containing the node you want to create an alias of. Select the node and press “OK”. An alias of this node will then appear in the active folder.
